Mission Statement

The mission of Wheel to Walk Canada is to raise funds for:

• Medical research that will result in a cure being developed for people suffering from spinal cord injuries

• Financing clinical trials of breakthrough spinal cord regeneration techniques

• Developing continual improvements in the science of spinal cord regeneration

• Making treatment of spinal cord injuries available to all Canadians who need it

• Creating awareness of the problem of spinal cord injury, its prevalence, causes, economic and social impact, as well as its prevention

Wheel to Walk Canada’s vision is that people all over the world who have suffered from chronic spinal cord injury will soon be able to rise up from their wheelchairs and walk again.
